3I I bought my Prius three years ago to lessen my carbon footprint on this earth. The Prius uses a lot less gasoline than the normal car. I fill my tank about every week and a half with five to seven gallons of gas. I average about 50 miles per gallon. The car’s computer optimizes gas consumption and battery charging. For example, when I’m at the stoplight, the engine turns off. This reduces the emissions to the atmosphere. If everyone drove a Prius, the impact on global warming would decrease and the United States would be less dependent on foreign oil.
